Opening Night Rocks

Don’t miss the start of four days and nights of great music. Opening Night of the Festival brings folk icon Michelle Shocked followed by Americana rockers Cowboy Junkies on the Amphitheater Stage.

Richard Elliott: Featured Organ Performances

The Main Library’s Urban Room becomes a concert hall with one of the three full-time organists for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Richard Elliott. A wall of 30 speakers and the lively acoustics of the Library’s glass foyer will intensify the sounds of Elliott’s 206-rank Æolian-Skinner organ.Friday and Saturday evenings will feature the performance of the complete Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" while Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon will feature a variety of musical selections.

Thursday, June 24, 7:30–8 pm; Friday, June 25, 7:15–8 pm; Saturday, June 26, 3:30–4 pm & 7:15– 8 pm.

Indie rockers, CAKE, are best known for their hits “The Distance,” “Never There,” and their “Rarities and B-Sides” album in 2008 covering Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" and Barry White's "Never, Never Gonna Give You Up." The band is poised to release a new album this year.
