From Drop Dead Julio:

We are shooting a video for "The Youth are Disillussioned" Saturday, June 6, near Saltair in Magna. We are looking for extras who want to dance in the crowd. We need about 30 people to show up on location at 4 p.m. Ladies, wear something sexy, like you were going to a club.

If you want to be in this video, please know the song. You can get it on iTunes, rip it from a friend, whatever, but we really want people to know the lyrics on the chorus because there's a big crowd chant in the song. For more info, check out blogs.myspace.com/dropdeadjulio.

From Portneuf Valley Brewing:

WOW!!! I knew we had some talented women musicians in Pocatello, but I never would have guessed there were 28 women with such incredible talent. A big shout out to Diana Shipley for organizing a great Ladies Music night last Saturday for the Chicks with Picks concert. Great show. A big thank you to her husband Gary and son Travis for running sound for the night and all the wonderful musicians that performed. Great turn out. Phenomenal turn out... and yes, we figured out why the breaker on the AC unit kept tripping that night (besides the shear heat loading on the system).

Monday - Open Mic Monday's in the pub (downstairs) from 7pm to close and the Celtic Jam Session upstairs in the loft from 7pm to 9pm. Not much else open on Monday.... get some grub and some kicked back entertainment. Bring your friends for a good time. We had horns, guitars and percussion this week...

Tuesday - Acoustic Jam Session Upstairs from 7:30pm to close.
